Qilin Ransomware "Korean Leaks" Hits 28 Financial Firms

GJTec (MSP) and 28 Financial Subsidiaries

A supply chain hack on a Managed Service Provider (MSP) led to the theft of 2TB of financial data.

The Qilin ransomware group executed a massive supply chain attack by compromising GJTec, an upstream MSP. This "side door" access allowed them to breach 28 different victims, primarily asset management and financial firms. The attackers leaked over 1 million files, including evidence they claimed proved stock market manipulation by prominent politicians, framing the hack as a "public service" to expose corruption.
