South Korean Military Reports Over 9,200 Cyberattack Attempts in 2025

South Korea’s military reported more than 9,200 cyberattack attempts targeting its networks and websites in the first half of 2025, a roughly 45% increase compared to the previous year. Many of the attacks are suspected to originate from North Korean threat actors attempting to breach military systems and obtain sensitive information.
